Nursery News Roundup…

Open Day11th July – The sun came out to play for our latest Open Day and we got the opportunity to meet lots of lovely new prospective parents looking for child care options. Our fantastic chef Lee whipped up a feast on the BBQ the kids had great fun on the bouncy castle and getting their face painted.

July 14th -Today we have been celebrating ‘Bastille Day’ which is the French National Day. Children have been enjoying lots of activities including painting French flags, having their face painted, dancing to French music and some of our children were even practising to speak some words in French! Thank you Jacky for teaching us some words in French!

Our fabulous chef Lee cooked a yummy French lunch for us today consisting of Beef stew with mash, vegetables and French bread. Overall everyone has had a really fun day.


What’s been happening in June?

Fathers Day 2015 1Fathers Day 2015 2June 19th – What a fantastic Father’s Day tea party we had yesterday! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, the music and chat! The children had all lovingly made their Dads a paper tie and a Fathers Day card. Thank you once again to all the lovely Fathers for joining us and making it a special event.

Our topic of this month is ‘Mini-beasts’ and children are thoroughly enjoying the activities around this topic. Here are some pictures to show you how much fun our children are having while hunting for different mini beasts.

Mother’s Day Breakfast…

A big thank you to all the beautiful Mothers who came this morning to join us for Mother’s Day breakfast. We hope you all enjoyed it!

Celebrating World Book Day…

On World Book Day we took the Pre-shoolers to the library. We had such a great adventure practicing our road safety awareness and catching the bus. All the children got the chance to peruse all the wonderful books at the library.

A very colourful morning at Monkey Puzzle Twickenham…

On Friday 6th March we had a fun filled morning teaching the children about Holi, and ancient Hindu Spring festival, also known as the Festival of Colours. We got some fantastic photos of the children getting covered in bright paint.

Have a look at what our little monkeys got up to at Halloween…

Everyone came to nursery in their favourite fancy dress costumes.

The children had great fun measuring out all the ingredients for Halloween cupcakes.

The children loved our haunted house and pumpkin carving and decorating.

Then we all had great fun playing Halloween party games.

Get your Spooky costumes ready… it’s nearly Halloween!

On Thursday 30th October we will be having our annual Halloween party. All the children will be invited to come to nursery in their spooky attire, ready to take part in our fun activities.  We will be cooking up some scrummy Halloween treats and having a mini disco for all the children to show off all their party moves.  Watch this space for some spine chilling photos.


Today at Monkey Puzzle Twickenham the children are gong to be learning about the ancient Hindu ‘Festival of Lights’.  We have lots of fun and exciting activities for the children to take part in including dressing up, Diwali arts and crafts and lots of music and dancing.  We are also going to be making some yummy mithai (sweets) for the children to taste so hopefully they will get a great insight into this special Hindu celebration.
