Well June has been jam packed with activity here at Monkey Puzzle and the staff have had so much fun planning for it all. Our Baby room has been busy with a transport theme and created an amazing H22 bus that the children could pretend to take a ride on. The Tweenies came to the end of their “Healthy Eating” theme and made some scrummy vegetable skewers. Preschool have been carrying out planting activities to develop an understanding of growth, decay and changes overtime. They planted cress seeds and beans and have been monitoring and recording the growth of regularly in their diaries.
We totally transformed our garden ready for the Queen’s 90th Birthday celebrations. We held a tea party along with lots of activities, music and fun. The children and staff had a wonderful time in the garden. Preschool children changed their role play theme into “The Queen’s Castle” and made birthday cards for the Queen along with crowns and other activities.
We also held a Father’s Day tea party which was a huge success, as everyone enjoyed the food, music and games. Thank you to all the lovely mums for emailing us the pic of dads to make a Father’s day frame. Well done to team Twickenham for your hard work in organising such an amazing event!
